ScrollBait Engine
ScrollBait Engine is a web application for creating, managing, scheduling, and publishing short-form video content.
The application helps creators manage the full short-form video workflow in one place: creating video series, generating episodes and media assets, reviewing completed videos, managing upcoming content, connecting social media accounts, and publishing approved videos to supported platforms.
ScrollBait Engine currently supports integrations with social media platforms including YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
Purpose of ScrollBait Engine
The purpose of ScrollBait Engine is to simplify the process of producing and publishing short-form social media videos. Users can prepare their content inside the application and then choose when and where completed videos are published.
ScrollBait Engine only performs publishing actions for social media accounts that have been explicitly connected and authorized by the account owner.
Connecting one social media platform does not automatically authorize access to another platform. Each supported account must be connected and authorized separately by its owner.
Main Features
ScrollBait Engine provides tools for managing the short-form content creation and publishing workflow.
- Create and manage video series.
- Generate and organize short-form video episodes.
- Manage generated media assets and completed video files.
- Review content before publication.
- Manage upcoming and scheduled content.
- Connect authorized social media accounts.
- Select which platform a completed video should be published to.
- Publish approved content to supported social media platforms.
YouTube Integration
ScrollBait Engine integrates with YouTube so users can connect their own YouTube account and publish videos created and approved inside ScrollBait Engine directly to their own YouTube channel.
Users connect their YouTube account using Google OAuth. During this process, ScrollBait Engine requests only the Google and YouTube permissions required to identify the connected account and provide YouTube video publishing functionality.
How Google and YouTube Data Is Used
ScrollBait Engine uses basic Google account information to identify the Google account that the user chooses to connect.
The YouTube upload permission is used only to upload and publish videos that the user has created, reviewed, and selected for publishing inside ScrollBait Engine to the YouTube channel associated with the authorized Google account.
ScrollBait Engine does not use the YouTube upload permission for unrelated purposes and does not publish videos to a YouTube channel unless the account owner has authorized the connection and initiated or configured the publishing action.
More information about how user data is handled is available in the ScrollBait Engine Privacy Policy.
TikTok Integration
ScrollBait Engine integrates with TikTok so users can connect their own TikTok account and publish short-form video content created and approved inside ScrollBait Engine.
TikTok accounts are connected through TikTok's authorization process. The user is redirected to TikTok to review and approve the permissions requested by ScrollBait Engine.
ScrollBait Engine uses TikTok's Content Posting API to provide content publishing functionality for authorized TikTok accounts.
Depending on the publishing functionality enabled for the application, ScrollBait Engine may allow an authorized user to publish approved video content directly to their TikTok profile or upload content to TikTok for further review and completion through TikTok's own publishing flow.
How TikTok Data Is Used
ScrollBait Engine uses TikTok account information only as required to identify the TikTok account that the user has chosen to connect and to provide the requested TikTok publishing functionality.
TikTok publishing permissions are used only for content that the user has created, reviewed, selected, or configured for publication inside ScrollBait Engine.
ScrollBait Engine does not publish content to a TikTok account unless the account owner has first authorized ScrollBait Engine to access the relevant TikTok publishing functionality.
Users remain in control of the TikTok account connection and may revoke the application's authorization through the applicable TikTok account settings.
Instagram and Facebook Integration
ScrollBait Engine integrates with Meta platforms to provide publishing functionality for supported Instagram and Facebook accounts.
Users can connect eligible Instagram and Facebook accounts that they own or are authorized to manage. Authorization is completed through Meta's account authorization process before ScrollBait Engine can access supported publishing functionality.
For Instagram, ScrollBait Engine may publish approved short-form video content, including Reels, to eligible Instagram professional accounts when the required permissions have been granted.
For Facebook, ScrollBait Engine may publish approved video content, including supported short-form video and Reels content, to Facebook Pages that the authorized user is permitted to manage.
Although Instagram and Facebook are both Meta platforms, ScrollBait Engine only uses the accounts, Pages, profiles, and permissions that the user has explicitly authorized through the Meta authorization process.
How Meta, Instagram, and Facebook Data Is Used
ScrollBait Engine uses authorized Meta account information only as required to identify the Instagram accounts and Facebook Pages available to the connected user and to provide the publishing functionality selected by that user.
Publishing permissions are used only to publish content that has been created, reviewed, selected, or configured for publication inside ScrollBait Engine.
ScrollBait Engine does not publish content to Instagram or Facebook accounts that have not been explicitly authorized by the account owner or an authorized account administrator.
ScrollBait Engine does not use Meta, Instagram, or Facebook permissions for unrelated purposes.
User Control and Authorization
Social media integrations are optional. Users choose which supported platforms they want to connect to ScrollBait Engine.
Before ScrollBait Engine can perform actions on a third-party platform, the user must complete that platform's authorization process and grant the permissions required for the requested functionality.
ScrollBait Engine does not request users to provide their Google, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, or Facebook passwords directly to ScrollBait Engine.
Authentication and authorization for supported third-party platforms are handled through the official authorization mechanisms provided by those platforms.
Content Publishing
ScrollBait Engine is designed to give users control over their publishing workflow.
Content can be reviewed inside ScrollBait Engine before publication. Users can select supported destinations and configure publishing actions for their connected accounts.
ScrollBait Engine publishes only to accounts that have been explicitly connected and authorized for the corresponding platform.
